Research On The Cultural Factors Of Qu Qiubai’s Personality

Qu Qiubai,one of the main leaders of the early Chinese revolution,he is both an intellectuals of profound traditional cultural knowledge and a staunch Marxist.He have a thorough knowledge of both western and traditional culture, and he is well versed in both ancient and modern learning. He dedicated his life to the china revolution and left a valuable spiritual wealth and unique personality image for posterity.Personality is the sum of a certain propensity of the psychological characteristics. The formation of one’s personality is inseparable with the acceptance of culture.Because of the specific historical circumstances, special family background and his own experience, Qu Qiu bai was influenced by traditional culture, modern western thinking and Marxism.Among these, traditional culture which affected him deeply is the basis of the formation of his personality, and the acceptance of Marxism is the keyWith document research and historical analysis, I expand my study with the following logical thinking:First, I analyze the traditional culture foundation of Qu Qiubai’s personality from the following aspects:the traditional cultural atmosphere behind the specific background, the traditional cultural factors in his unique family and his special life experience.Secondly, I analyze Qu Qiubai’s changes and the specific process in accepting Marxism from the following three procedure:before the May Fourth Movement, during the May Fourth Movement and after the May Fourth Movement.It can be said that, the inner interlink between traditional culture and Marxism urged Chinese people to accept Marxism.Because his traditional cultural heritage was strong,Qu Qiubai accepted Marxism in practice gradually, and thus established a Marxist worldview.Then, I analyze Qu Qiubai’s personality in revolutionary practice by using a large number of historical facts. Such as a strong sense of social responsibility and a firm belief in communism, self-discipline, the spirit of conscientious and introspective, open-minded view of the life and death, selfless heroic spirit, and so on.A corollary is that, the connotation of traditional culture and the sublimation of Marxism facilitated Qu Qiubai’s unique personality.In short, the cultural acceptance of a people influences his personality greatly. The example of Qu Qiubai’s personality confirmed it. At the same time, the cultural factors of Qu Qiubai’s personality enlighten contemporary college students on their personality. That is to say, today’s college students should follow the good example of Qu Qiubai, absorb the essence of traditional culture actively and take the Marxism as a guide to establish a correct worldview, outlook on life and values, and contrast their ideal personality.
