Du Fu is one of the greatest poets of ancient China. From middle and late Tang Dynasty, Du Fu and his poetry has been concern about academic circle, his poetry is influenced by other poets of imitation and learning. To the Song Dynasty, the collation and annotation of Du Fu’s poems also actively carry out, thus forming a "one thousand people note Du Fu’s poems" situation, the first climax to his studies.Ming and Qing Dynasties, with the demise of the Ming Dynasty、Man Zu entry、the establishment of the Qing Dynasty, after this great change, the poets are turn their attention to the Du Fu’s poems, more people are concemd about Du Fu, thereby forming a second wave of the Du Fu’s poems. Yuan and Ming Dynasty, in the middle of these two climax, the people put the Du Fu’s metrical verses as models for the creation of the poetry. The "Five-character Metrical Poetry annotations of Du Fu" written by Zhao Pang, is a successful in the notes following aspects of Du Fu’s poems. However, scholars have not paid more attention on it. This argument of the view, based on the previous research results, to further understand the situation of Du Fu’s poems comments in the Yuan dynasty, and the characteristic of “Du Fu’s poems with notes” and value in the history of research Du Fu’s poems.This article is composed of four parts.The first chapter:First introduces the life and travel experience of Zhao Pang, then explore Neo-Confucianism and literature affects the Zhao Pang. Through the analysis of the Neo-Confucianism thought, to understand his literature thought.The second chapter:From the annotation content description, version, style characteristics on "Five-character Metrical Poetry annotations of Du Fu".The third chapter:Found the author’s view of poetics.The fourth chapter:The evaluation of “Five-character Metrical Poetry annotations of Du Fu”.
