At present Chinese-teaching of domestic institutions, most colleges and universities divide students into classes according to their Chinese level, but less think the students’ ages, learning motivation and cultural background, etc. School of International education, Anhui university which I internship in is also the miedx classes. Mixed class refers to several aspects of mixture such as the students’ age, gender, nationality, learning motivation, cultural background and so on. Because of different learning motivation, the different culture etc.,overseas students learn Chinese language in class, especially learn Chinese characters, show different learning characteristics obviously and have all sorts of difficulties. This article attempts to analyze the mixed class students response to Chinese characters by investigating, combined with the investigation of Chinese language teachers’teaching methods, find suitable Chinese characters teaching strategies for foreign students, further help teachers to improve the teaching of Chinese characters and the efficiency of foreign Chinese character teaching.This paper is divided into five parts, observed and summarize foreign students’ Chinese learning and teachers’ teaching methods of foreign language in the beginners mixed classes, discusses as a mixed class teachers should be use which teaching strategies.The first part introduces the research origin, the current research status, research object and content, research purpose, significance and research methods. Researches showed that the teaching of Chinese characters the related problems in the Chinese international education and are not comprehensive and thorough, there are still many problems need us to discuss and solve.The second part is mainly to write the investigation and analysis of students learning Chinese characters overall situation in mixed class, including students natural conditions, such as age, learning motivation, cultural background and so on, and the students’Chinese characters learning survey, analyze the characteristics of students Chinese characters learning.The third part is the investigation and analysis of the present situation of teaching foreigners Chinese characters in mixed class. Based on the present situation of the students’ learning Chinese characters in mixed classes, analysis difficulties of Chinese characters teaching in mixed class, through the questionnaire analysis of teachers’ teaching method and the opinions of the students feedback, found that teachers commonly used teaching methods are not considered valid by students. In view of this, it is imperative to improve teaching strategies and methods.The fourth part is mainly based on the first two chapters on the investigation and analysis of mixed class students and teachers of Chinese as a foreign language, proposed Chinese characters teaching strategy of the beginner mixed classes. According to the actual situation from the distinguish different cultural backgrounds, distinguish different learning motivations, change teachers’ inherent teaching methods and such aspects put forward the teaching strategies, in order to improve the effect of Chinese characters teaching in mixed classes.The last part is the summary of this paper. It summarizes the main points and conclusions of this paper, and makes notes of the shortages in the research for this thesis, points out that the related research of Chinese characters teaching in mixed classes has expansibility.
