Fu Baoshi studied in Japan in his early years.During his study in Japan,he met many Japanese painters.Fu Baoshi himself said in an interview that he was influenced by watercolor painting while studying in Japan.Therefore,as a graduate student studying watercolor painting,I explore the watercolor factors in Fu Baoshi's paintings by analyzing the information revealed in his paintings.To show how Fu Baoshi successfully combines Chinese and Western painting to create his own painting style,as a reference for his own creation.This paper discusses the influence of Japanese painting on the watercolor factors in Fu Baoshi's works.He contacted and learned a lot of watercolor paintings in the West.And see the Hengshan Grand View,Bamboo Inhabitation Phoenix,Hashimoto Guanxue and other works of watercolor painting reference.After returning to China,with the inspiration of Bashu mountains and waters to Fu Baoshi,his works show the characteristics of water mist and vertically and horizontally brush and ink.In the later stage of his artistic career,the Eastern European sketch journey became the key factor in the formation of watercolor factors in his works.Through the study of the composition and color of Fu Baoshi's works,this paper analyses the watercolor factors in his paintings.Through the expansion of its performance techniques and themes,this paper expounds the significance of absorbing watercolor factors in Fu Baoshi's paintings.Combining with my graduation creation,Fu Baoshi's inclusive innovative ideas in composition,color and other aspects have a great inspiration for my watercolor creation.
