The assembling machine of insulating glass, is a machine that assemble two or more plates of glass with aluminum spacing strip, which is filled with molecular sieve as desiccant. Inert gas is filled in the interlayer hollows to form single or multi-hollow insulating glass. Based on the research of the actual production process, a automatic control system for the assembling machine of insulating glass was developed.The thesis researched the working principle of the machine and production process of insulating glass first. Then developed the insulating glass assemble technics of conventional gas with single-chamber, inert gases with single-chamber, conventional gas with double-chamber, inert gases with double-chamber. This paper researched the transmission control technology, pressure plate technology, sucker control technology and inert gas filling control technology in the process of insulating glass production line separately. Based on the research, an automatic control system of insulating glass assembly line was developed, in which the model Profibus-DP communication mode,315-2DP PLC CPU (configuration with the functional module of digital input, digital output, analog input, analog output) were adapted as main station, and the IM153(configuration with the functional module of digital input, digital output, analog input, analog output) was adopted as slave station,This system achieved automated production in the whole process of glass transmission, detection of the glass geometric dimensions, pressure plate control and insert gas filling. The trial production indicated that the automatic control system meets the needs of production basically. This research improved the productivity of glass assembling process, and of great importance and value for the insulating glass produce.
