The development of the virtual assembly technology provides a new approach for test the assembly ability of product. The application of virtual assembly technology has great signification for shorting new product development cycle, reducing costs, enhancing the quality of product design, and improving the design efficiencyThis article,taking the vacuum check valve as research object, make research about the assembly sequence planning, assembly path planning, assembly seal physical model, and constructs virtual assembly system, based on Virtools, realize the simulation of work course and virtual assembly simulation.First of all, make key research on the virtual assembly planning, put forward a new ant colony algorithm based on backtracking the assembly relation to solve the assembly sequence planning problems, which is fit for solving complicate problem; put forward a new ant colony algorithm based on depth-first searing to solve the assembly path planning problem, whose advantage is to ascend calculation efficiency; And check the algorithm with the vacuum.Second, make research on the model of sealing, combining with the structure of the valve, have a preliminary estimate for the vacuum sealing performance, has a guiding significance for the;the structure design of a vacuum; through analysing each factors on the influence of the sealing performance during the process of assembly, make the virtual assembly more significant.Again, probes into the probes into the development of virtual assembly system the overall structure and process; and selectes development environment; state the key techniques,such as, the product model building and transformation, the assembly sequence planning, assembly path planning, collision detection, sealing performance testing, in this paper.Finally, use Virtools as virtual platform, UG,3DS Max as modeling software to construct the virtual assembly system, in order to display the research in this paper, and emphatically introduces the display system and interactive system. The results show that the system has a good stimulative effect on reducing the actual production of physical prototype and promoting the paperless.
