Grinding and classification during the beneficiation process has been the study of engineering and technical personnel and experts at home and abroad. On the basis of Automatic Control research status of grinding and classification process, solved for the prone problem of Grinding and classification, this paper studies mainly from the following several aspects:First, according to the research status of grinding and classification at home and abroad, comprehensive analysis of the various demands, by comparing the technical specifications of the spectrum analyzer, nuclear scale, concentration meter, flow meter and electric valve, and Combination of grinding and classification process of the actual operation, grinding and classification process control system are programmed.Second-the author should draw the grinding and classification technics flow chart. Draw the overall block diagram based on the design goals and design principles of control system, including upper(lower) bit machine, testing and executing agencies.Third, in order to control the amount of ore, grinding concentration and particle size of th e three parameters in grind grading process,on the basis of analysis of the DCS system, select and configured the hardware about grind grading system.Forth,Using winCC to design the operator panel of grind grading process, confabulated the interface of hardware configured and control of equipment, control parameters, which including historical data archiving and accident alarm, fault diagnosis, fault protection, established human-mechanical interface to realize the real-time supervisory of the entire system.Finally,making use of Siemens PLC S7-400, selecting step7software to achieve the design of the D/A input and output programs, programming the detection and control of the amount of ore, grinding concentration,grinding the ore grinding concentration, automatic ball-adding and the sorting machine overflow concentration.Research and design a whole control system of grind grading for a mine concentrator, the a pplication is well in practice. The results obtained can be an effective solution to the mill operat ing efficiency, and has important practical significance to improve the efficiency and stability o f process criteria.
