High Quality Screen Moderate Sand Sand Control In Offshore Oil Field Research Design Standards

In our country offshore oil fields, most of them are heavy oil field buried shallowly in unconsolidated sandstone; sand production is a common and severe problem during the development process.Most of current various sand control techniques applied are to take effective completion means which belong to "resolutely sand control" type, despite the good effect of sand control, additional skin factor is added and the well productivity is certain extent reduced. In order to seek the most optimal solution between sand control and sand production, the proper sand control in the unconsolidated sandstone reservoir in offshore is proposed, and this can ensure long-term high and stable yield as well as the good effect of sand controlling.Well completion techniques for proper sand controlt in offshore oil field are the key.The proper sand controlt is the technique which control the sand through the strict precision design of sand control allowing the output for a range of small particle formation sand with the produced fluid in order to improve the reservoir properties and to prevent sand seam clogging, maximize the productivity.But the research on well completion techniques for proper sand controlt in offshore oil field is still in the field test exploration phase, not only taking a long cycle, but also at a high price,besides,it is difficult to obtain the knowledge of the laws because of the complex field conditions, the performance of the well in the application process of proper sand control is not always well ensured, considerable technical risk existed. For this, the design criteria of sand control for premium quality screen during the application process of proper sand control in offshore oil field is studied in this paper.This paper closely considering the key technical issues of proper sand control completion with premium quality screen in offshore field,firstly,the paper studys the yield increase mechanism through systematic analysis of the mechanism and influence factors of well sand production,providing the theoretical basis for the technical implementation of proper sand control;Then combined with the research analysis and practical application of well sand control completion method as well as commonly horizontal wells and inclined wells completion sand control method at home and abroad,it clarifise the rationality and superiority to carry out the proper sand control production with premium quality screen in offshore oil field; After that,the paper provides the determined criteria according to the production in offshore oil field and considering the mode of production management in offshore oil field and the cycle of platform handling sand and the current standards of sandcontrol; Finally,,the paper gives the design criteria similar to the Saucier method for the uneven fine sand and uneven medium sand with premium quality screen carrying out proper sand control production,through indoor simulation experiments of premium quality screen carrying out proper sand control production.The research of this paper provides the theoretical basis for the further development and improvement of proper sand control technology,and it has a certain theoretical and practical values for the efficient development of China’s offshore unconsolidated sandstone reservoir.
