Research Of Cnc Turret Punch Press Control System Software

Stamping is an important technology for the rapid development of modern manufacturing. CNC turret punch press is an important equipment used in press forming. At present, as the core part of CNC turret punch press, CNC system used in enterprise mostly chooses FANUC or Siemens numerical control system abroad. For this kind of CNC system, the design of circuit, interface, program, and auxiliary devices is all regulated by manufacturers, and products or even modules between different manufacturers are not common. These foreign CNC systems have perfect function and stable operation, but they are so expensive and confidential, that they are not conducive to the continued development of domestic CNC equipment manufacturing industry.With the development of industrial control technology, it’s possible to satisfy almost all control requirements of equipment by using the same medium (i.e., PC and standard software products). And, foreign countries started research work in this area very early. In this kind of background, the subject researches how to satisfy all control requirements of CNC turret punch press by using IPC and standard software products. According to this subject, this paper mainly does the following research:Based on the structure and operational principle of original mechanical CNC turret punch press, the solution of control system based on PC is determined.Then, hardware selection and connection, system configuration, soft PLC code etc, are done respectively, In hardware selection and connection, the selection of fieldbus and terminal technology are introduced. In system configuration, TwinCAT, the automation software product is introduced. In research of soft PLC code, hard PLC, operational principle and system architecture of soft PLC are researched.Next, the PC control software is researched. The PC control software can complete motion control, system monitor, parameter setting, graphic simulation and other functions.Finally, one of the important issues in press forming, the blanking pieces arrangement is researched. It is researched from two angles about indirect arrangement and direct arrangement in this article.
