The ion air gun is a hand-held electrostatic precipitators. It can produce a largenumber of ion flow high-speed blew by compressor, and neutralize all the charges onobject, to achieve the purpose of eliminating static electricity. It is widely used inremoving electricity and dust of suppressed plastic products, electronic products andautomobile, shipbuilding, FRP.The main subject is to design an external high voltage power supply which beused for ion air gun. It requires input voltage24V, output voltage7kV, the outputcurrent of2mA.To realize of the design of the high-voltage generator, high-frequency transformer,rectifier circuit technology, the inverter circuit, the PWM control technology are used.It inverters DC for high frequency AC output, boosts high frequency by transformer,then rectified and further boost by the voltage doubler rectifier circuit, and finallyobtain the necessary high voltage and low current output.Firstly, this paper will analyze the background of the subject, including workingprinciple of ion air gun, the requirements of ion air gun power supply. CurrentSituation and future development of ion air gun power are described.Next analyzed the working principle and a variety of features of the mostimportant part-the high frequency transformer of the high-voltage generator circuit,including feature of high-frequency transformer core winding.Principles of the other parts of the circuit are introduced, including the Principlesand types analysis of the inverter circuit, the PWM waveform modulation, principleand parameter characteristics of voltage doubter rectifier circuit, transformerovercurrent protection and overvoltage protection, circuit EMI filter works and circuitsto select, principle of sampling the feedback circuit and the working principle of thedifferential amplifier.Circuit production is based on the theory, including selection of the chips of eachmodule, circuit schematic drawing of the chips and pins, drawing and production ofPCB board. Meanwhile, emulation and debugging is carried out on the existing circuitschematic and PCB board, and analysis of the high-voltage generator according to thedebugging results is followed.Finally, there is the summary and conclusion of this project.
