| In recent years, with advancing investment on high-speed railway projects in China, scale of high-speed railway projects becomes larger and larger. And traditional methods already cannot solve resource conflicts between complex inner procedures, so that we have to find a better way for process control. Critical Chain Project Method (CCPM), a new management method of project progress, treats the resource restrictions as important as process logic, and can solve resource conflicts effectively and guarantee progress of high-speed railway projects. By studying the characteristic of high-speed railway projects, this paper works out their rational time.According to research status of project process management at present, the paper analyses project process management at home and abroad as well as application of critical chain. On the basis of this, research ideas, methods and structure arrangement are identified.Then by studying TOC theory, critical chain method and traditional methods of construction progress and comparing critical chain method with traditional methods of construction progress, this paper draws the conclusion that critical chain method is more feasible and applicable in high-speed railway project with large-scale investment and difficult construction.In addition, from the characteristics and construction process of high-speed railway projects, we discuss process goals, affecting factors and choice of methods. On this basis, a critical chain model, which is compatible with construction process of high-speed railway projects, is applied to determines elements and implementation of models and choose the best method for determining key elements.In the end, we apply the High-speed railway construction process Critical Chain method model in a specific example and compare it with traditional methods of construction progress, the result of which shows that critical chain method can improve project process of high-speed railway projects. |
