Along with the development of electric power enterprises and computertechnology, researches on graphic system with highly effective rates, strongmaintenance and good user interface became an important mission of power analysissystem. The power graphics system is a significant part of electrical network, is anessential tool of the power system computation, simulation and other visible applicationsoftware of power system. This thesis firstly carries on the research of object-orientedtechno1ogy and exploited methods, analyzes the function demands of power graphicssystem, including document operation, graph operation, view operation, modeloperation and data management. It designs the graphic object level structural model,discusses the detail of graphic class process. At the same time, the automatic generationof network models, the graphics platform interface design ideas as well as the graphicsplatform simulation calculation function.Firstly, the thesis studied the content of computer graphics, put forward how touse computer to produce and display the graph; how to describe the object use computergraphics technology; how to manage and operate the graphics data; how to display andoutput the graph. Then this thesis introduced the core function module of the integratedsystem-graphics modeling, the electrical network graph system analyzed and designed.It also introduced the object-oriented technology, and use the object-oriented technologyto describe the electrical equipment components, constructed the graphics classlibrary.Based on the analysis of power grid graphics data, it saved the physical andgeometrical attributes of components and all self-defining attributes data into therelation database, then constructed various kinds of rules from database to graph,realized the integration of graph and database.Secondly, the system adopts the philosophy of integration of graph and database,which can read-in some data automatically while drawing the graph. It set up thetopological structure of the power grid automatically, therefore reduced the users’workload. Because power system’s calculation is the foundation to ensure the safe operation of the modern large-scale power grid so it is the guarantee of the equipment toexcise the trouble and avoid malignant accident in time. Therefore the system alsooffering the data interface for the setting calculation, fault calculation, and emulationmodule, realized the automation of power system.This article also examined the graphical modeling of the electricity network, andmade a grid-based the dwarfed electrical wiring diagram topology identificationalgorithm, laid the basis for obtaining topological data for the electromagnetic transientcalculation. And the actual numerical example the proposed algorithm is effective.Field use experience has shown that, software system designed to better meet thenational grid in the vast needs of the electricity production business, with its investmentin the project to use its functions continuously improved, it will surely make newcontributions to the development of intelligent graphics platform for power system.
