In recent years,As the concern over the rapid consumption of fossil energy such as coal, oil and natural gas,energy crisis and increasing environmental pollution, many countries have been in search of and actively developing clean,safe and reliable renewable energy source.Solar energy is a ideal energy source with the advantages such as cleanness, in exhaustibility and safety.The energy system of the solar-electric vehicle is a compound system. It includes solar cell array and super capacitor. In the research of solar-electric vehicle super capacitor as energy storage device is a very important part of the whole system. Thus a lot of research work had done to prolong the using life-span of the super capacitor. Charging control system of the solar electric vehicle is studied in this thesis, including the maximum power point tracking, charging super capacitor, power balance control and others。 Firstly, the constructers, composes, efficiencies and the output voltage,current of the battery are studied. According to the P-V characteristie, the Non symmetrical fuzzy algorithm to track the maximum power of the solar cell is given by comparing many kinds of MPPT methods. The maximum power of solar cell is tracked in real time based on this algorithm, by simulation of Matlab software. Results show that this algorithm did this work effectively. Then the solar car electrical system’s modules are analyzed in detail and modeling.The solar car electrical system topological structure is studied.Based on the topological structure of the original electrical system,a supporting capacitor C was added to improve the system dynamic topology. In order to realize the power balance,the PI control was used in this paper.The result of simulation show that the topology and control strategy can achieve system power balance.
