Unilateral Shuttering Helicopter Climb Arc Design And Construction Of Concrete Formwork System

In the past, the construction of architectural concrete is mostly for straight wall,slab, column or box-type partial arc of monomer components, and normally less forunilateral circular formwork components. This paper takes the Opening of2008BeijingOlympic Games’23m diameter circular projects as an example, from the angleconstruction technology of the architectural concrete component in construction,unilateral hanging climbing arc formwork system are summarized. This paper coversthe following contents:⑴To follow the system principles and selection of pylons under architecturalconcrete construction unilateral circular formwork and satisfy the Olympic Gamesopening ceremony project’s special requirements, three types of lining wallconstruction are compared and a kind of wood beam arc lining the wall system isselected as a formwork. The whole formwork system is designed and divided into30formwork units, including29standard units (MB-01) and a non-standard unit (MB-02).This design facilitates the formwork, but does not affect the vertical transportationequipment, with good quality concrete forming to meet the requirements.(2)The examples of engineering, architectural concrete lining wall hangingformwork construction technology are taken consideration, including the guide wall,lining wall as well as the formwork operation frame. And the whole process ofconstruction and technical problems are discussed in detail.(3) According to the requirements of construction process of the lining wall ofarchitectural concrete pylons, the strength and stability of unilateral formwork arcformwork are measured and checked.⑷With examples of projects, the formwork project quality standards, qualityassurance, civil construction and safety assurance measures are discussed thus toregularize the lining wall of architectural concrete construction and system arcformwork management, and its construction effects are summarized.Through the construction of the opening ceremony of the Beijing OlympicGames’ project, the paper summed up the architectural concrete component in theconstruction of unilateral hanging climbing arc formwork system the selectionprinciples standards and design requirements of the formwork, the paper summarized the construction technical difficulties solutions and main construction managementmethods, it can make reference and provide support for a large number of complexcomponent of architectural concrete formwork system design and construction.
