At the moment, the type and occurrence rule of trellis plant diseases and insect pests become more and more complicated. For insect control, the ubiquity of inefficiency, high pesticide-residue and high-pollution always being with traditional spray equipment has badly affected the quality and the harvest of trellis plants. Because of the advantage of quick-acting, economical efficiency and rapidness in insect control, using pesticides to control insect pests plays an important role in protecting trellis plants from diseases and insect pests. How to spay efficiently has become a major focus of present research, and this is exactly the research focal point of this paper. The research of this paper is supported by the China National High-Tech Porgram (863Program)(2008AA100904):Research on Efficient Spaying Technology and the Creation of Spaying Equipment Applying in Trellis Plants. The paper discuss the research status at home and abroard in efficient spaying and the feature of trellis plants, analyse influencing factors of trellis plants efficient pesticide-spraying and construct the working parameters decision expert system for sprayer applying to trellis plants, which will provide decision gist for the design of new-type intelligent spraying equipment.After analyzing the correlation technique of pesticide spraying, including basic knowledge and mechanical models of pesticide spraying, the control flow of trellis plants pesticide spraying system was presented. Afer analyzing the function of Working Parameters Decision Expert System for sprayer applying to trellis plants, the general structure design of the system were brought forward, also the knowledge base and the data base were constructed. According to the specialty of precision pesticide application knowledge, the meteorological condition of precision pesticide application knowledge was mined using decision tree, and the decision tree model was also constructed to decide whether or not to spray. The design of reasoning machine model was based on cases and rules, and the reasoning flow was brought forward.Lastly, the soft-ware developing of system was realized based on analyzing the theoretical knowledge of pesticide application. In the process of realization of system, the human-computer interface was friendly designed, the module of plant diseases and insect pests, intelligent decision, data inquiry and users data management have been debugged. According to the data results of comparing the data of field test and the key parameters from system, showed that the system have high veracity, rationality and better adaptability.The success of system provided the theory basis for pesticide sprayer applying to precision pesticide application. Through using the working parameters decision expert system, it will improve the efficiency of pesticide treatment, reduce environmental pollution, and also steer the correct direction for the application of modern agriculture and forestry.
