| Mammary gland hyperplasia is one of the most common breast disease in women of reproductive age.It is the abnormal change of mammary gland lobules in quantity and structure,belonging to the non-inflamed or non-tumorous disease. Mammary gland hyperplasia is the degenerative and progressive change of breast parenchyma and interstitial fibre due to the body hormone level disorders and imbalance.It is named by Tianze Zhang in1965. It is treated according to its Bianzhen staging in Chinese medicine, and treated mainly with Tamocifen(TAM) in Westen medicine.We studied the diffence of effects between Chinese medicine(Jiaweixiaoxiaowan plus Xiaojingjiaonang) and TAM in treating mammary gland hyperplasia.Objective:To observe and analyse the clinical effects of Chinese medicine(Jiaweixiaoyaowan plus Xiaojingjiaonang),TAM and only psychological counseling in treating mammary gland hyperplasia type of Liver-qi Stagnation.Methods:Chose120patients treateded in our surgical outpatient department who are correspond with the western medicine diagnosis standard of mammary gland hyperplasia and traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis standard with dialectical classification of Liver-qi stagnation and Phlegm stagnation, benign and malignent tumors exclusived. All patients were grouped into group A, group B and group C, group A treated with Chinese medicinethe (Jiaweixiaoyaowan plus Xiaojingjiaonang), group B with TAM and group C with psychological counseling respectively. Each group was treated for three consecutive periods,7days making a period. The clinical effects were oberseved and analysed.Results:According to the change of pain in the breast and the change of the structure and the size of mammary tubercules, the total effective rate of group A is92.5%%, group B is77.5%,and group C is57.5%. When compared among the three groups, P is less than0.01respectively, showing that the differences are highly significant.Conclusions:Compared with TAM and only psychological counseling, Chinese medicine (Jiaweixiaoyaowan plus Xiaojingjiaonang) has great advantages in treating mammary gland hyperplasia type of Liver-qi stagnation and Phlegm stagnation, faster effects, more effective and with less side effects. Therefore, Chinese medicine (Jiaweixiaoyaowan plus Xiaojingjiaonang) can be spreaded in treating mammary gland hyperplasia type of Live-qi stagnation. Only psychological counseling is also effective to some patients with light mammary gland hyperplasia and can be used in these patients avoiding taking madication. |
