Modern pharmacological studies have shown that the volatile oil of Magnolia has the effect of antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-viral, so it was generally used to treat the cold headache, nasal congestion, Biyuan stream erosion tears, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis and other diseases. Today, the development and utilization Magnolia are mainly on the Volatile oil extraction and rhinitis medication. But becouse of the greater irritant and can not keep well, especially the instability of simple preparation drugs will affect the efficacy of the play and bring inconvenience to the clinical application. Thus, it is very important to further improve the efficacy of its clinical application by preparing high efficient and stable volatile oil.In this paper, experiments for this application deficiencies of the volatile oil have been conducted, mainly about the role of anti-inflammatory and antibacterial research. According to the following steps concretely:1. Stagewise separation The extracted volatile oil will be taken to a silica gel column chromatography according to their different polarity, which is separated into eight fractions, and detected by GC-MS analysis of the various components of crude oil and separation of the volatile oil contained in the main component.2. Anti-inflammatory experiments By stagewise emulsification of the volatile crude oil and each active active constituents after separation, researches have conducted on its effect to mice dimethylbenzene ear edema and rat plastic forks dish plastic foot swelling, the results find that each component after separation have different anti-inflammatory effect, of which the2nd paragraph shows a certain irritating effect, at the same time we found that crude oil shows better anti-inflammatory effect compared with components after the separation of volatile oil.3.Antibacterial experiments Comparing the antibacterial effects of the crude oil and separated active components with stagewise emulsified to Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans. The results show that N0.6-No.8of VOMbP separation have the best antibacterial effects, which has a largesignificant inhibitory effect against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis(especially for the latter two), but has weak antibacterial effects to Candida albicans, No.2has feeble antibacterial effects. The antibacterial test results show that the inhibition of bacteria is the polarity of the relatively large component in the volatile oil, and fungal inhibition is the relatively small component of volatile oil.4.Preparation Due to a greater irritant and volatile of volatile oil, it will be difficult to clinical applications. Therefore, preparing the VOMbP into nanoliposomes, and ultimately determining the prescription for a VOMbP120mg, cholesterol25mg, sodium cholate2mg,and vitamin E1.5mg. The optimum preparation conditions are in the ultrasonic power of400W, effective ultrasound time of20min, the rotary evaporator temperature is37℃, the PH test result was6.8. Through the experiments on VOMbP and its nanoliposome, we find that VOMbP nanoliposome have reduced the irritant of volatile oil and the toxicity, and clinical security has been improved, which are more conducive to clinical applications.
