Chaulmoogratree is the dry stems from the Flacourtiaceae’s plants which is Hydrocarpus hainanesis (Merr) sleum and Hydrocarpus anthelminthica Pierre. It has the efficiency on Relieving rheumatism and Detoxicating and destroying parasites. Chaulmoogratree is mainly used to cure lepra,syphilitic lesions,scab,bottle nose and acne. H.hainanesis is widely spread in Hainan province, and it is the specific plant in this districs. Despite it’s seeds are widely used as Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), it’s leaves also be used to theraphy lepra,tinea and sensitization derma ticis as TCM in folk.Preserved research have showed that the ethyl acetate section which is extracted from the H.hainanesis’leaves have good effection on anti-fungus. We systematically extract and identify the effective p arts of H.hainanesis, for the purpose of searching for its anti-fung us m-aterials.We have get7compounds through taking silicon gel, HP-20, MCI, Sephadex LH-20, RP-18and PTLC materials and sepa ration methods. All of these7compounds have been identified tha t they are all the known ones. They are2,9-dimethyldeca-2,8-dien e(1);α-arm-yrin(2);phytenal(3);phytol(4);3,7,11,15-tetramethylhexadec ane-1,2-diol(5);Glutinol(6); Lupeol(7).All of them are the first time be separ-ated from this plant. The results of this project will provide a foundation for the use of H.hainanensis resources. Meanwhile,it also lays a scientific basis for the quality control standards of leaf of H. hainanesis.
