Omeprazole Combined Sijunzi Decoction Throat Reflux 60 Cases Of Clinical Observation

Purpose:The patients with laryngopharyngeal reflux(LPR) are often given Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs) and Motility drug as preferred treatments But as clinical practice develops, it has been found that the dose of PPIs is hard to control, and long-term use of the PPIs has many negative effects, and PPIs is invalid for some patients. So we need to explore a new way to treat LPR. The contemporary research of TCM on LPR is not perfect yet. But according to TCM’s theory of treatment based on syndrome differentiation, TCM has great protential in treating LPR. Our objective is to observe and confirm the efficacy of Omeprazole combined with Sijunzitang in the treatment of LPR. To discuss the mechanism of Omeprazole combined with Sijunzitang in the treatment of LPR.Material and method:Choose60cases of laryngopharyngeal reflux who are fit for the experiment. Randomly divide them into observation group and contrast group. The observation group take Sijunzitang and Omeprazole and Domperidone orally, the contrast group take only Omeprazole and Domperidone orally. Continue the treatment for3months for one course. Compare the result of clinical efficacy by useing Reflux Symptom Index(RSI).Results:28cases in observation group have effective result,the total effective rate is93.33%(28/30cases);17cases in contrast group have effective result, the total effective rate is56.66%(17/30cases). There is statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion:Omeprazole combined with Sijunzitang is more effective than simple drug treatment of Omeprazole and Domperidone in treating laryngopharyngeal reflux.
