Song Zhen "fun" In The Category Of Study

As an aesthetic category of Chinese Classical Literary Theory, Qu was formed in Song Dynasty. People in Song Dynasty largely put Qu into the poetry criticism. At the same time, poetry critics in Song Dynasty gave Qu further theoretic explanation and improvement which made Qu first widespread as a literary aesthetic standard. Song poetic criticism was the new mode of literary criticism in this time, whose aesthetic thoughts typified this aesthetic category. Now, poetry criticism is mainly studied in aesthetic field on the classification of poetry criticism, experts’ research and the things above the research of comprehensive theory. The monolithic study is still very lack in the academic circles. So this thesis will start with Qu, adopting the method which combined research with category and individual study, the author analyzes the pattern, clarifies the features and searches after its backgrounds and the time meaning. It is expected to make up some blanks on a certain degree.1. Introduction:A general evaluation of current study on poetic criticism, and the subject of this thesis. By review the development of Qu briefly, trying to formulate a definition of Qu, that is the theoretical condition of this thesis.2. Text:The whole text is divided into four parts.Part 1. The formation of Qu in Song poetic criticism. This part summaries and analyzes the pattern of Qu in poetic criticism. It first appeared in writers’ works, then in appreciation of works, and usually in evaluation of compositions. It can be regarded as the impressive sight.Part 2. The explanation of aesthetic features of Qu in Song poetic criticism. This part is the key part in the thesis, which analyzes the six different aesthetical forms with the emphasis on Qi Qu and Tian Qu, Li Qu and Feng Qu, and Yi Qu and Xing Qu in order to make people have a deep knowledge of the unique aesthetic feature of Qu in poetic criticism.Part 3. The analysis of formation cause of aesthetic feature in Song poetic criticism. This part searches after the time meaning of aesthetic feature of Qu from its background and the connection between Qu and Chinese philosophy tradition, and even the distinctive culture.Part 4. The distinctive contribution of Qu in Song poetic criticism. Owning to the influence of time, as a aesthetic state, Qu was pursued and admired by people of that time so that it was treated as a life state people looked forward to.
