Art education teaching internship is the most important part of the education and pre-vocational training of art teachers. Recently, few of the studies on higher education teaching and teacher education were devoted to art education, and most of the relevant studies are merely limited to the description of procedures in art education teaching internship and the summary of experience. Only a few studies are involved in the existing problems in domestic art education teaching internship, the solution established in previous studies are no more than some suggestions and strategies, and there is no theoretical framework establishment and empirical study found. Over the years, due to the teaching reform of art courses in basic education, the requirement standard of elementary and middle schools for art teachers has been enhanced, and the reform of art teacher education will soon be launched. The art education teaching internship course in the past is far from being able to meet the current need. Therefore, to establish a mode of art education teaching internship which is able to meet the requirement of art education teacher training for the current basic education will be a brand new filed which needs to be explored urgently. And this thesis is just devoted to such issue.In this thesis, the study of art education teaching internship from theoretical level to practice is carried out following such procedure as "raise a questionâ†'explain the questionâ†'analyze the questionâ†'establish theoretical framework (tackle the issue)â†'Empirical analysisâ†'Reflection of theory". Chapter One first provides an introduction to the origin, significance and creativeness of the research subject, then presents explanation to the relevant concept of this study, and the focus and value orientation of domestic and international previous studies are summarized and elaborated. In Chapter Two, the special characteristics of art education teaching internship are analyzed, and the problems existing in current domestic art education teaching internship are reflected on the basis of the researchers’teaching practice. Chapter Three and Chapter Four are the essential part of this thesis. Chapter Three pinpoints the existing problems in current art education teaching internship, and related theory and practices of the "phased progressive and multi-agent interactive mode of art education teaching internship" are further explained associated with domestic and international advanced practices as well as the researchers’teaching practice. In Chapter Four, empirical analysis is adopted to analyze the implementation of this new mode of teaching internship. As there is no completely perfect study, the study in this thesis is not perfect either. In Chapter Five, the author summarizes the limitation of this study and reflects the newly established theory which has tested by practice. The practice demonstrates that:"phased progressive and multi-agent interactive mode of art education teaching internship" is able to solve the problems existing in the past art education teaching internship, and makes improvement of high operability from ideology, planning and design, to organization and implementation to the current art education teaching internship.
