Teaching internship is an essential training link of master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(hereinafter referred to as MTCSOL).Through teaching internship,MTCSOL can improve professional skills and clarify professional direction.The internship of this major is divided into domestic internship and overseas internship.Different internship environment gives different internship experience to interns,and it also has different influence on them.Only when the interns have a deep understanding of the environments,can they have definite aims in the process of internship and gain the most positive influence after internship.Therefore,this paper selects 2017 MTCSOL as the survey object,uses questionnaire and personal interview methods to investigate the current situation of internship environments at home and abroad and its influence on the professional skills and employment intention of interns.This paper analyzes the similarities and differences of the environments by comparing the Chinese learners,interns’ responsibilities,teaching textbooks and internship duration at home and abroad,and analyzes the similarities and differences of the influence of the internship by comparing with the feeling of internship process,the improvement of professional skills and employment intention at home and abroad.The results will provide a reference for the interns of MTCSOL in choosing their expectant internship environments before they start their internship.The result shows that the similarities of the international Chinese language teaching internship at home and abroad include three aspects,they are the types of international Chinese class,the applicability of textbooks,the range of weekly class hours.The differences of the international Chinese language teaching internship at home and abroad include six aspects,they are the grades and countries of Chineselearners,the interns’ responsibilities and lesson types,the publishers of teaching textbooks and the duration of the internship at home and abroad.Different internship environment makes interns get different internship experience,which has different influence on interns.There are three aspects of the influence of international Chinese teaching internship at home and abroad,namely the feeling gained by the interns who practice at home and abroad,the professional skills of the interns who improve at home and abroad,the choice of employment intention of interns who have practiced at home and abroad.At the end,based on the results of the study,some suggestions are put forward for the masters to participate in the internship of international Chinese language teaching : 1.Choose a variety of internship methods;2.Ensure sufficient internship time;3.Consolidate professional knowledge and skills;4.Change the personal values of job selection. |
