Superb hoard of Buddha figures of Long Xing Temple in Qing Zhou, has witnessed thesplendor of Chinese statues. Their perfect artistic expression form recorded the process ofintroducing foreign culture and art, caring of life, fusing aesthetic of the national culture ofancient China and creating a new style of Chinese sculpture art. Its outstanding artisticachievements and the unique art style, attracts much attention of domestic and overseas. Thisthesis chooses the statutes of Long Xing Temple in Qing Zhou in the Northern Dynasties as theobject of study, and combines with the situation of Buddha figures generating and developingunder the specific historical, cultural, geographical and religious environment, in order to do anin-depth analysis of plastic arts and internal spirit of Qing Zhou Buddha figures.This thesis alsotries to make up for lack of research on the art of Buddha figures in Long Xing Temple in QingZhou, make the readers have more profound understanding of the artistic value of the Buddhist,and promote Chinese national art, and expect to attract more attention and researches onBuddhist art. Social life is associated, for the other aspects of the research such as traffic, religion,culture, the research of Wei jin Buddha statues art is meaningful.Some research methods are used to proof the thesis, such as interpretation, explanation,examples and analysis, and on-the-spot investigation. The research focuses on the artistic stylesand internal spirit of the statues. By taking specific Buddhist works as examples, the writer try tounderstand artistic creation original intention and aesthetic psychology of the people, analyze thevisual image deeply demonstrated by the Buddhist statutes, tries hard to analyze deeply theconnotation spirit, and extends enlightenment for the future generations. Therefore, an in-depthstudy of Buddhist statue art, is not just simple understanding, but the more important thing isabsorbing nutrition in real learning, and provide reference for the future research of the statuesand professional learning, so understand the value and significance of Chinese traditionalculture.The opening of the thesis is the introduction of papers discussing the academic value ofselecting this subject, the source of selecting topic,current research situation and innovations inthis thesis. Chapter I reviews the rise, transmission and development of statute art firstly. Then itdiscusses the social environment of Qing Zhou, and the origin of the Long Xing Temple. It alsoinvolves my summary of the related issues extending by the statute research. For the typicalnorth toward the statue, the statute art characteristics and expression form of Long Xing Templein Qing Zhou are elaborated in chapter II. Chapter three seek freedhand spirit of Long Xing Temple statues deeply. In the period, mainly from the source of the freehand spirit and thespecific performance to discuss the spirit of freehand brushwork. The fourth chapter will train ofthought into today’s art learning and creation, draw the conclusion of individuals, with athought-provoking. The last part is the conclusion, which summaries the art styles and spiritualmeaning of Long Xing Temple in Qing Zhou.
