The Modern Chinese Study "to The X To Y" Format

In recent years,more and more scholars are beginning to pay close attention to theresearch of modern Chinese phrasing,Mr Lv Shuxiang has said that:How to make more andmore sentences with endless variations useing limited phrases is the final purpose ofgrammatical analysis,and it is also useing work for the studying of people.What is calledphrase,generally,is called for sentential form or syntactical structure,but in my researching,thisconception is useing for linguistic form with fixed words sign.In modern Chinese,there is a phrase named "给X以Y" worthy of ourattention.Looking at the shape of this phrase,we can kown it rooted in the phrase“VX以Y”of old Chinese,and its particularity initiates more and more scholars to research it.Atpresent,its researching fastens on the component part"给" of this phrase ,the othercomponent part "以"and the addreviation "给以"of it.In the book named《现代汉语格式初探》writed by Mr. Zhu Linqing,the researching centres on its grammatical function.This phrase is used more an more times and this situation asks us to research itparticularity distinctly.Then we can use it for our writing or communication better,and it canhelp us to achieve our aim of communication;then it can help us useing wordsnormatively;and also, its researching is good for the teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage.Therefore,in my article,the first part introduces the component part"给" of thisphrase ,the component part "以"the component part"X"and the component part "Y".On thisbasis,according to the theory named three planes,we research its particularity ongammar,semantics and pragmatics.It consists of: in the second part,I research the gammaryparticularity of the whole phrase,for example,it is used to be attribute,object,adverbialmodifier,predicate or independence sentence and so on;in the third part,I research thesemanteme particularity of the component part S,X and Y,on this basis,those phrases of thisform can be classified into two classifications:A and B;then in the fourth part,according to thetheory of the pragmatics,I analysed there were many different variants of this phrase,forexample,change in quantities of the component parts and the different rank of thosecomponent parts.Simultaneously,at the last of the thesis,useing the new theory，the cognitivelinguistics theory,we can find a new way or a new point of view to research this phrase,andwe hope ,we can contribute our strength for this research.
