Wang Yangming is famous for his morality, contributions and comments. Idealpersonality theory that he proposed based on the Sagely within and Kingly without ofConfucian school, aims at saving the current malpractice. And he developed his unique styleof personality theory through assimilating the advantages from Confucian school, Taoistschool and Buddhism. Wang yangming’s Ideal personality theory is the spirit resources ofModern Confucianism construction as well as the spirit impetus of development in Japan,Singapore and other Southeast Asian countries and regions. Ideal personality is the fullrealization between the whole society and individual personality, and is a supreme exampleof moral during the procedure of moral development. According to the current social politics,Wang yangming proposed the ideal personality. On the basis of the predecessors, the authortakes sanctify as a starting point, and studies his thoughts of ideal personality throughdocument analysis and historical analysis in three parts.The first part presents the theoretical basis of Wang yangming’s ideal personalitythought, that is the social and historical conditions, and theoretical premise. The social andhistorical conditions consists of the prevailing economic foundation, political and culturalsituations. The date that Wang Yangming lived is still closed and a small-scale peasanteconomy society. With the development of commodity economy, the mode of production ofcapitalism has taken shape initially, and market competition did not only appeared in acommercial activity, but also become a norms of social and political life at that time.Meanwhile, land annexation is particularly intense, so the peasant upraised constantly. Asfor the ruling class, eunuch grasp all the power, party struggles constantly, and borderintrusion year by year. Ming dynasty inherited the imperial examination system, implementthe cultural dictatorship, and increase the eight-part essay, at the same time, with thedogmalizing of official Neo-Confucianism, the literati class are weak. According to thesocial conditions and her political career and academic experience, Wang Yangming realizedthat only a personal moral self-cultivation is not enough, the society, people’s minds alsoneed rescue, and the Neo-Confucianism needs to be rebuilt. On the basis of absorbing Confucian, Taoist, and Buddhist ideas of ideal personality characteristics, Wang yangmingformed his unique personality theory.The second part elaborated the basic content of Wang Yangming’s ideal personalitythought, that is Wang Yangming’s ideal personality -- conscience; the demarcation of idealpersonality; the realm that the ideal personality need to achieve; and the method. The authordiscussed his theory from the premise of the conscience and the meaning of the consciencerespectively, we informed that Wang Yangming’s conscience derive from Mencius view ofpre-Qin. and there is emotional and moral conscience is both a moral evaluation ofunification, and feudal moral principles and norms of the three cardinal guides and the fiveconstant virtues as specified in the feudal ethical code, is also the same with heart. On thisbasis, and thus revealing the meaning of Wang Yangming’s ideal personality: the saints arenot omnipotent, omniscient, as long as the expansion of its conscience, everyone has becomea Saint, becomes the ideal personality of the only standard of virtue. Wang Yangming’sdrawing of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism on the basis of the personality, developedhis own natural, wild heart secondary hyper-morality "without me" about, "I" benevolentstate of all things in the world as a whole as well as there is no State. Reflects a ConfucianWang Yangming as not only seek personal mind state of life, but also on the social reality ofour grief sorrowful worried feelings. Methodology of implementation of Wang Yangming’sideal personality, the "innate" training methodology, as well as "unity" theory,self-cultivation and have the practical operability, also good for personal cultivation practiceparadigm.The third part analyzes Wang Yangming’s ideal personality thought value andenlightenment. Wang Yangming ideal personality thought historical value aspects includingthought the feudalism system maintenance and restriction, in theory of later generations andinfluence of thinkers in the practice operation significance. Enlightenment of WangYangming’s thought of ideal personality consists of three levels: ideals of the people---basichuman standards; encouraging people; on people’s all-round development--to lead. WangYangming’s importance to the moral and personal culture, country, and others closely linkedto the social responsibility and obligation, no doubt for the cultivation of moral integrity,ideals, culture, and discipline has a major significance of contemporary people. Wang Yangming ideal personality thought the comb and the research process, the final analysis is acritical inheritance, discard bad sperm retrieval, integrated innovation, the past serve thepresent attitude of the capture of traditional ethics and transformation process. WangYangming’s personality through both theory and practice significance of the idea ofexcavation, this true self-awakening, for modern life, forming independent, healthy character,provide a good example.
