Since Mencius put forward the concept of "conscience without learning,conscience has become an important concept in Confucian philosophy.Later,Wang Yangming inherited Mencius' concept of conscience and raised it to the status of original substance.Wang Yangming thinks that it is not feasible to have reason outside the heart and to seek reason from outside the heart.He thinks that natural reason comes from the heart,thus endowing the conscience of the heart with the meaning of natural reason.Wang Longxi put forward the concept of "xianzai liangzhi" on the basis of previous "conscience theory" and endowed it with more abundant connotation.Wang Longxi emphasized the "xianzai" nature of conscience,and it indicates that conscience is both present and present at any time.Conscience has both priori and activity.Innate perfect conscience,which can provide basis and possibility for people's moral behavior practice.The present of conscience can make people directly judge the right and the wrong in the specific situation according to the natural nature of the conscience.At the same time,Wang Longxi's view is not only of moral significance in conscience,but also the source of life that can connect heaven and earth and create everything.“Xianzai liangzhi” has both original significance and Wang Longxi's unique thought of time and time.He also emphasizes "innate positive heart" in conscience,and does not abandon "acquired sincerity",and both are taken into the "one thought of time".In the origin of conscience,Wang Longxi advocated the ideal personality as "a great hero out of the world" “ The connotation of "xianzai liangzhi" is highly consistent with the pursuit of the highest ideal personality.Based on the pursuit of "transcendence from the world",Wang Longxi's ideal personality theory puts forward the ultimate ideal personality image of "out of the world" by criticizing the local wishes and appreciating and surpassing the heroes and the crazy.The theory of "xianzai liangzhi" has been criticized by many scholars of the same school,and it has also become a focus of debate among Yangming's later scholars.Firstly,is Wang Longxi's "xianzai liangzhi" complete? Wang Longxi thinks that seeing in conscience and sage's conscience are of the same quality,both of which are congenitally complete and present.It is the conscience of everyone that makes it possible for everyone to become a saint.Secondly,the critics think that Wang Longxi's theory of "xianzai laingzhi" pays too much attention to the understanding of mind and body,so it shows an attitude of neglecting efforts.Wang Longxi attaches great importance to congenitally correct mental effort,but he does not deny the necessity of postnatal effort.There are some differences between Wang Longxi and other scholars in his understanding of effort.Thirdly,critics think that Wang Longxi's theory of "xianzai liangzhi" is suspected of flowing into Buddhism.However,if we study this theory,we will find that Wang Longxi always adheres to the position of Confucian standard,reasonably absorbs the resources of Buddhism and Taoism to enrich the connotation of the theory of conscience,and forms the unique features of his theory of conscience.In addition,"xianzai liangzhi" highlights the initiative of moral subject,which has certain enlightenment for the treatment of some moral problems in today's society.
