Meanwhile, stroke orderspecification of modern Chinese characters also has a vital significance on helpingpeople correctly and firmly to remember English characters, fast and beautiful towrite characters, accurately and conveniently to search Chinese characters.This paper systematically combed a Chinese characters stroke order development.It considers that Chinese characters stroke order is evolving gradually formoracle-bone scripture, gold text, big zhuan and small zhuan to official script andregular script etc. Before official script appeared, Chinese characters had used linesfor elements. It did not have clear for stroke order’s start-stop order and before-afterorder. After official script changed, Chinese characters had realized the strokes andgradually formed the stroke order rules. The maturity of formal script urged Chinesecharacters stoke order rules tending to complete. Under leadership and support ofnational language writing related section, modern Chinese character stroke order rulesget more and more scientific, reasonable and scientific.The modern Chinese characters stroke order rules exist a lot of problems, such asstroke order rules is difficult to remember, parts of rules are conflicting, parts of rulesaccord to different standards, parts of norm standard existence lost phenomenon.
