Background:Since2007, the campus group dancing have be carried out over four years. The firstset of campus group dancing is in accordance with junior high school students’ psychologicaldevelopment, which helps to improve the students’ psychological health level. Shandongprovince education administrative department organizes the students to carry out the campusgroup dancing, so as to promote the development of students.Objective:Through the survey analysis, this paper discusses the positive meaning of the campusgroup dancing to middle school students’ mental health growth, and explore the effectivemechanism. That make people have more comprehensive view about function of the campusgroup dancing, and improve the confidence and enthusiasm, so as to reach this new thing of theadvantage and development potential.Research methods:Through the literature analysis method, questionnaire method, interviewmethod, and mathematical statistics method, tracking survey group dancing training of600students. Through the qualitative analysis and quantity, and summarizes the mental health growthimpact on campus group dancing in junior high school students.The results:A study using of "the comprehensive questionnaires campus group dancing A and B ","classcohesion questionnaire","the revision of the shy scale","the self-esteem scale","the physicalself-concept of questionnaire", analyzes the ampus group dancing influence on interpersonalrelationship, class cohesion, heterosexual contact, self-esteem, self-confidence and the bodyconcept of self. The results show that:1Interpersonal skills: Campus group dancing activities help junior high school students improveinterpersonal skills, especially heterosexual contacts ability. Matching T test sample results showthat, through the campus group dancing training, the communication of shyness degree have nosignificant difference.2Physical self concept: Junior high school students of the campus group dancing trainingself-concept have changed.3Self-confidence aspects: Using T test samples, the results of the difference between before andafter is not significant. After the campus group dancing training, junior high school students’self-confidence is greatly improved.Combining the qualitative research, through words of the campus group dancing, to furtherverified campus group dancing on high school students psychological impact, and discusses itsinfluence. Conclusions are as follows:1Heterosexual contacts aspects: Campus group dancing training process, promote the men and women to communicate generously, and guide students to correctly grasp the relationship withthe opposite sex.2Self-esteem aspects: The development of campus group dancing process, by giving praise toprotect the students’ self-esteem, improve the students’ level of self-esteem.3Mood: The campus group dancing mobilize the most students emotion, relax the mood.4Temperament aspects: The campus group dancing cultivates girls grave and elegant, boysgentleman and promote the students’ health.
