The Military Theme Of Painting Creation Of Language Transformation And The Era Demand"

In the history of the world art development the form of military theme paintings always closely related to the development of contemporary art genres. From French Romanticism Eugene Delacroix (1798-1863) to Germanic New Expressionism Anselm Kiefer(1945-), all created military themes related paintings in their own special art language.However, Chinese military theme paintings are deeply influenced by Glekov Military Painting Studio of the former Soviet Union that has been in use the realistic approach of the revolutionary realism modeling as the main body, emphasizing the dramatic scenes of the picture. Since the reform and opening up, the Chinese art world have seen the earth-shaking changes and development, and military theme paintings failed to keep pace with it.Some people think that the military theme productions which praise the heroism and promote the culture of the main theme should be reflected by realistic realism performance practices. This paper argues that this is a subjective one understanding. The paper argues that the above views are kinds of subjective single understandings. If the military theme is the subject of creation, the expression means the object of creation, the human senses can influence the relationship between subject and object, and the creation of military themes in the form of artistic expression and language should also be changed and broke through.Delacroix, French Romantic master has referred in his diary:"The works of art need to belong to your own era." This paper argues that the involvement of the language of color and material materials will enrich and develop military themes paintings.
