Culture teaching is a very important part of teaching Chinese as a second language.And also culture of communication is the main content of culture teaching. Therefore,culture of communication has a very close relationship with language teaching. Themain purpose of Chinese language teaching is to teach Chinese language learner how touse Chinese language to communicate with others, so they should not only applicate theChinese language knowledge skillfully, but also should understand the culture of thetarget language. So the communication can go on effectively, especially thecross-culture communication.The process of language teaching and studying is actually a process ofcross-culture communication. So lead the concept and study of cross-culturecommunication in teaching Chinese as a second language, not only can enhancelanguage learners the consciousness of cross-culture communication but also canenhance the ability of cross-culture communication. Especially to the foreign studentswho are studying in China, communication culture teaching is not just attached to thelanguage teaching, more important is service for their daily life. The differencesbetween Chinese culture and western culture is obvious, lead to the values, mode ofthinking and understanding of people in different culture background are also different.The communication could be fail if do not to understand the resources of thesedifference.Along with the progress of globalization, the communication between all countriesand nations is increasing. Cross-culture communication is become a main feature cannot be ignored in modern time. Recently, the study of cross-culture communication ismore and more important in teaching Chinese as a second language and have obtaincertain achievements. But at the mean time we should see that there are also a lot ofproblems in here. Such as the features of culture is developing with the society, but if our teaching content is still remain the features from last century then how can we catchthe paces of modern time. Otherwise, culture teaching has always been subordinated tolanguage teaching, never paid enough attention to communication culture teaching. Allof these problems tell us to refresh our knowledge, and enhance these content inteaching and studying in the future.Above all, this essay is about to contract the culture of Chinese and Westerncountries, then summary and analysis some defects in communication culture teaching,and how to solve these problems.
