In terms of Chinese, tone is very important. Different tones can refer to various meaning, including feelings. The problem how to apply tones has direct efficiency on communication. Modal particle, as the modern Chinese communication process, which is one of the most important ways of expression, must be grasped correctly by overseas students. What’s more, modal particle is a peculiar Chinese phenomenon, together with its quantity, use frequency, and usage characteristics such as complex, and the difficulties of the foreign students learning. So according to Chinese learning investigation to the teaching of tone expression, the author first briefly discusses the definition of tone and its main expression way, next analyzes the relationship between the tone and tone of auxiliary, limit the use of tone auxiliary factors and how to determine the tone of the auxiliary tone significance, then the author analyzes the difficulty of teaching auxiliary tone and errors, and finally put forward the teaching strategy of auxiliary about tone. Through the analysis of the characteristics of the tone auxiliary itself and the difficulties in teaching, the author tries to find some teaching methods to promote the auxiliary of tone and help students in Chinese language and modal particle study.
