Vocabulary teaching has been a focus in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language,what also attracted controversy as a "standard" vocabulary teaching in the more andmore attention from scholars. Based on previous studies, the difference between theword-based "standard", and "morpheme-based, comprehensive analysis of theadvantages and disadvantages of the morpheme teaching proposed in the teaching of thefull application of the morpheme teaching, rather than simply stay in the theoreticalstudy.This paper first analyzes the relationship between the characteristics of themorpheme and its Chinese characters, vocabulary, and then from the characteristics ofthe Chinese language itself, combined with the characteristics and methods of secondlanguage teaching, pointed out that "morpheme" as the basic unit of teaching invocabulary teaching also pointed out that the place of the morpheme pedagogy can beapplied, including: words and Phrases in Synonym Discrimination, bias analysis, theHSK examination skills. Finally, the paper pointed out that the "morpheme pedagogy"to bring us enlightenment.The authors hope that through theoretical analysis and practical application ofanalysis on "morpheme pedagogy" to promote the "morpheme teaching, in order toadvance the teaching of foreign language vocabulary.
