Context plays a very important role in language understanding and using, especially in a un-target language country. The setting of context in other countries is essential. This research is about focusing on teaching and learning Chinese at Chinese classes in Dhaka City. By combining the teaching practice in Bangladesh, I investigate the practice of context in Chinese class in Bangladesh. This research discusses the importance of using context to teach Chinese in and teaching method, and puts forward my own teaching design, and based on this, summarizing the teaching suggestions to improve the efficiency of students to learn Chinese and the real communication skills in Chinese.The first chapter is to make clear some concepts in context theory. The important concepts are about the factors that the context includes. The second chapter is to analysis the using situation in the Chinese class in Dhaka city by collecting and gathering statistics of the questionnaire. The third chapter is to get the teaching result after the experimental class by using context and to sum up the advantages and disadvantages of the experimental class. The last chapter is to offer some context teaching advices through the result of the research and the experimental class.The research is deeply and based on firm theory, with theory analysis and the classroom practice. The research set the theory into classroom practice, which makes this research scientific and practicable. It is a model of research that combines theory and practice together which is badly needed in applied linguistics. As a result, this research has a certain influence in improving teaching method and enriching the practice way to teach and learn Chinese in Bangladesh.
