"tourist Gaze" Under The Perspective Of National Culture Construction Research

The ethnic culture tourism has been another important form of tourism in China. It is very popular with lots of tourists and has gradually become the pillar industry in the economic development of many ethnic provinces, creating economic benefit and showing and publicizing the colorful ethnic culture so that the positive interaction between the ethnic culture and ethnic economy is achieved. Meanwhile, the ethnic culture tourism, to a large extent, can enhance ethnic cohesion, promote cultural exchanges and communication with foreign countries, carry forward the ethnic spirit, promote the ethnic economic development, and eventually change the production and living conditions of ethnic groups fundamentally and achieve the ethnic region common prosperity.The ethnic cultural tourism brings the changes of the national culture is the key of paper.This paper uses "tourist gaze" as a tool to study the Xanadu Scenic Area in Guangnan County, which has become a scenic spot of the ethnic culture tourism from a completely closed village because of tourism development, receiving more than100,000tourists a year. In this paper, the writer deeply analyzes the culture construction of this area in the process of its tourism development. Through a large number of interviews and surveys, this paper focuses on discussing the great guiding forces from the tourists’powerful gaze in the reproduction of the scenic area and under such forces how the tourism participators such as the government and operators construct the ethnic culture of this area in the second encoding process of shaping the scenic outlook, making the ethnic traditional culture change in various degrees in clothing, food, building and living patterns, languages and writings, the ethnic craft and art, production and lifestyle, and well as the internal ethnic psychology, feeling, faith, religion, ways of thinking and interests, etc. From different perspectives of tourists at the huge influence of the tourism to produce.Ethnic culture is a living culture in the development and changes. Its trend of development and change is irresistible. But it doesn’t mean that such change is always positive. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the guidance in the changes in order to promote the ethnic culture and the ethnic culture tourism.
