The reach article is based on the book Wokaizhenge(《倭楷正讹》)which was written by the Japanese scholar named Taizaichuntai(太宰春台) who was skilled in the field of the Confucian doctrine in the Edoperiod. The rearch data is the forth part of <The Research of VariantCharacters>,which was written by杉本つとむ.The author gave a brief introduction to the concept of the standardChinese characters and the common Chinese characters.Besides, he alsotell the difference of these two kinds of characters. He made a systematicarrangement to the common Chinese characters in Japanese at the age ofhis time. The book Wokaizhenge is the very first and precious informationto the study of common Chinese characters in Japanese.In this article, the author want to find out how the common Chinesecharacters which was flew into Japan through various kinds of literatureafter Han and Tang Dynasty affected Japanese characters. In this article,the author will put emphasis on the character samples in the text.This article consists of five parts. The first part is theintroduction of the book Wokaizhenge. Besides, the author also give abrief introduction to the previous research results. In the second part,the author do the research on the sample in this text. Using thecomparative research method, the author compare the character sampleswhich are written in the text with the characters appeared in the DunhuangText and Stone Text in the third chapter. In the forth chapter, the authorcompared Chinese simplified characters with Japanese ones, and give ananalysis on how the Japanese Simplified fonts Movement affected theChinese simplified fonts. Chapter Five is the conclusion. The appendixis the fonts form of all the compared characters.
