A Study On Epitaph Common Chinese Characters Of Tang Dynasty Zhenguan Period

As an important part of the Chinese characters,the research of common Chinese characters also is main content in the evolution and development.Compared with paper writing,Stone inscription not only has a longer retention period,but also can truly reflect current character situations.Therefore,Stone inscription is the necessary first-hand material in the analysis and research of ancient character form.Nowadays character circles are still study Stone common Chinese characters by traditional methods,which is guided by the theory of Chinese character configuration and then collects and studies Stone inscription systematically.Character is a language symbol system,studying character from semiotics;It is also a scientific research method that is able to create new points.Starting from signifier and signified of symbols,this paper applies the theory of semiotics,discussing the usage and form difference of common Chinese characters in Zhenguan period(in Tang Dynasty).The main theme of this paper are to reveal variant information during the special period,strengthen our cognition of the generation,development and evolution of common Chinese characters,provide new basis to enrich and perfect character form system.This paper selects documentation in Zhenguan period.There are six chapters.The first chapter mainly analyzes the meaning of topic,materials,current situation,thought,method,and so on.Chapter Two separately discusses from common Chinese characters and semiotics,finally getting the view of common Chinese characters and its semiotics theory.The third chapter achieves the usage of common Chinese characters as well as the features of its inheritance and change in Zhenguan period.Chapter Four consists of two parts,the first part gradually analyzes the 40 common Chinese characters and reveals the reason of variant;The second part tells the relation among symbols,users and environment(physical environment and sociocultural environment),recover the the formation of common Chinese characters from the perspective of the symbol pragmatics.In the view of calligraphy aesthetics.The fifth chapter combining semiotics expounds the influence of calligraphy.The author integrates the research of common Chinese characters and calligraphy theory through the change of structure and parts.Chapter Six is a conclusion,which also includes the insufficient and the future goal.
