From the research of the Chinese phonetic teaching,we found that the pronunciation errors made by overseas students contain the characteristics of their own countries.Special teaching methodologies targeted on students from a certain country will affect the second language acquisition of those students a lot.In this paper, based on the students of the Spanish-speaking countries,the comparison between the phonetic systems,experimental phonetics and other analytical tools were used to vertify the situation when they learned that the Chinese consonants.On the basis of previous studies, we first use the method of comparative analysis, the Spanish phonetic system with the Chinese compared to identify similarities and differences between the two in order to predict the errors of the Spanish-speaking students in the period of learning Chinese consonants.And then by listening to the pronunciation of the Chinese consonants,further verification assisted by the Praat software.Further we verify the difficulty of Chinese consonants and with a common performance based on statistical analysis of related data.The paper pointed out that in the part of Chinese consonants,errors were focused on the Chinese dorsovelar sound, aspirated and unaspirated sound and blade-palatal, in addition to some zero initials and syllable spelling errors. Finally, we give appropriate teaching strategies and recommendations for their main consonant errors.In Chapter One,the background of the research is introduced; In Chapter Two,the consonant system of Chinese and that of Spanish is contrasted,thus possible pronunciation errors of Spanish students are predicted according to the analyses of Chapter Two; In Chapter Three,various means of listening and experimental phonetics Spanish-speaking students of Chinese Consonants situation and focus on verification-related bias; In Chapter Four, the teaching advice is provided according to the results of the analyses; In Chapter Six,the conclusion of the thesis is given.
