Official Document Communication Language Research

Official document language has been playing important role in various communicative interactions of official groups, departments and public institutions. Based on the theory of pragmatics, this thesis aims to study official document language in the perspective of communicative language. And this thesis is going to analyze this communicative official document language in following respects by comparison and case analysis. First, the relationship between official document language and communicative language:official document language is one of the written communicative one. Second, the communicative characteristics of official document language:a defined communicative goal, a specific communicative objective, authentic and precise materials, fixed format, proper communicative language, and the communicative timeliness. Third, the use principle of this language:cooperation, properness and aesthetics. Fourth, the barriers and resolutions of official document language use. Therefore, by these analysis, this thesis is expected to make contribution to the study of official document in communicative field academically.
