Malaysia is most of the multi-cultural and multi-ethnic country. It was presents a multi-language environment in education learning, therefore it appearance some different language of textbook, it include Mandarin, Malay, English, Hindi, the four language-based of textbook. The development trends of the world Chinese language learning, Malaysia government began pay attention at Chinese learning, different ethnic feel that Chinese is more importance now, so that we need to pay more rigorous at the Chinese language textbook. In Language policy has a lot of people start learning many languages from their younger year; Chinese is one of them, so that we need to improve the level of Chinese language textbook. In this thesis will focus analysis of the primary school textbooks "Bahasa Cina" in theoretical and empirical point of view on the textbook in a scientific argument, submit an actual feasible ideal and suggestion of modifying textbook for the future.Introduction part of the paper will explain the meaning of topics, Object of study and research methods. The first chapter is research status.The second chapter explains theconcept including thestate, Mandarin, Chinese primary schools and teaching materials and clarify the theoretical analysis framework of this thesis. The third chapter is combing national type primaryschool Chinese curriculum, textbook development historyand investigate textbook includingtexts, words,activities and exercises, illustrations. The fourth Chapter isquestionnaire for students and teachers, investigation to obtain thetextbooks user feedback on using "Bahasa Cina". The fifth chapter ismaking some suggestions for modifications of the textbook, which is included:unit system of the text; different types of knowledge; words can know more than write; improve exercise quality; improvement ofillustrations;enhance the teaching materials combination of technology and multimedia education.In textbook research, we would find out advantages of teaching materials and survey analysis. Text should be used on a modular design and supplementary reading, it can attention to the life experiences of the learners.Words need to strengthen the characters commonly used in the preparation; recommendations learning the choreography of the HSK Chinese Characters Level Outline to division level of vocabulary to solve the problem in Chinese learning. Words can know more than write to enhance the literacy of learners. Practice design based on procedural knowledge can improve learners language skills. Illustrations with introduction and illustrated role means that characters design can guide learners and close their lives. Using multimedia materials to enhance and improve the quality of textbook.
