| Since the death of Yuan Hongdao, influenced by history, politics, literature ideological trends, scholars’evaluation of Gong’an school and Yuan Zongdao, Yuan Hongdao, Yuan Zhongdao, Jiang Yingke differed, but thus accumulated a large number of research results. This thesis selects "The study of the Beijing period (AD1598-1600) of Gong’an School", is based in the period1598to1600(hereinafter referred to as the Beijing period), Yuan Zongdao, Yuan Hongdao, Yuan Zhongdao in Beijing with the members of Pu’tao colleage together, creating the peak of Gong’an School. In their transformation of academics, Buddhist thoughts, literary theories and writings, posed a crucial influence for the development of Gong’an School, has of spaces and research values.This topic has the following three points. First, Beijing period was the peak of Gong’an school. Wanli twenty-six years Wu Xu (1598), Yuan Zongdao became a high official in Beijing. Yuan Hongdao arrived in the capital, Yuan Zhongdao into the Imperial College, with elder brother Yuan Zongdao, they met each other. With principle of common interests, they contacted the prestigious people frequently, forming a shock to the Movement of Returning to Ancient, and formed the peak of Gong’an School. Secondly, the demonstration for the change and adjustment of Gong’an School’s literary theory and literary style was within Beijing period. Yuan Hongdao’s academic, philosophical shift was occurring in Wanli twenty-seven years Ji Hai (1599), this spring was also the peak of Pu’tao colleage, the thought of Pu’tao collage and Yuan Hongdao’s transformation may had a close relationship. This led Yuan Hongdao to the correction of literature theories and writing style. Thirdly, analysis the changes in Beijing period, discusses the causes and significance of variation. Since twenty-six years Wanli Wu Xu (1598), Yuan Hongdao began a tendency of "steady-going". He was affected by political instability, philosophy and internal development of literature. At that time Yuan Hongdao made a prompt decision, timely correction of school’s internal theoretical shortcomings, to express true feelings, respect nature, but at the same time, value the traditional experience of writing, which played a positive effect for the school’s writings. On the other hand, because of this correction, the characteristics of "the theory of personality" had gradually disappeared, which were the negative influences within the school. |
