Culture and language are inseparable, and currency is closely related to our economic life. Words of currency have recorded Chinese history and culture and reflect people’s economic relationship.This article uses theory and research methods of Cultural Linguistics as a guide to analyze the Words of currency. Firstly, on the respect of culture, it described the development and evolution of Chinese currency names in the history---from Physical currency to Metallic currency, from Banknotes currency to Credit Money. The article also organized sort of currency phraseology and then summarized Chinese traditional concept of money. Then on the semantic, with morpheme analysis and theory of monetary functions in economics it set up four Semantic fields:Measure of value, Means of payment, Medium of circulation, Value of savings; with Stylistic theory it made Spoken and Written analyses of Words of currency in daily life. Finally, because of the war of the monetary cultural have impact the effect of business communication in application. At the same time, monetary words are part of business communication terms, so, this paper attempts to put the result of its study applied to the Teaching Business Chinese of TCSL, regard China’s monetary history culture and the Chinese traditional concept of money as the culture of teaching material, put the monetary functions and stylistic color as a kind of lexicology teaching to help students understand the Chinese culture, build a network vocabulary, improve memory efficiency and accuracy, and complete business communication effectively.
