Jinzhou Dialect Words Research

Jinzhou lies in the southeast of Liaoning Province.The strategy position is veryimportant. It is the struggle position of soldiers in the history.Jinzhou dialect has itsown feature in two aspecets of pronounciation and vocabulary.This article takes thevocabulary of Jinzhou dialect as research object.By the field survey,we sort out theglossary of the Jinzhou dialect,and make research from a diachronic and synchronicaspects.The diachronic comparison includes contrast studies between Jinzhou dialect’svocabulary and the following books’vocabulary:“Shuowen jiezi”“Broad Rhyme”andworks of Ming Qing Dynasty.This article investigates the source of Jinzhou dialect’svocabulary as much as possible.The purpose is to seek the development law ofJinzhou dialect’s vocabulary.The synchronic comparision includes contrast study of Jinzhou dialect’svocabulary and mandarin’s vocabulary in the aspect of the speech sound,the wordform,the word meaning and the function.Finally we analytic the special vocabulary of Jinzhou dialect.The purpose is toreveal the characteristics of Jinzhou dialect.
