The Buddhism Communication during Ming and Qing Dynasties in China and the Edo period in Japan is a new peak since Tang Dynasty. Because of the needs of the Japanese rulers,and invitation and of the overseas Chinese in Nagasaki, the64-year-old Eminent monk Yin Yuan Long Qi crossed the sea with thirty followers to publicize Buddhism in Japan. There they created Huang Bo Sectarian and Huang Bo temple.They not only influenced Japan Buddhism but also spread Chinese culture. For example, thought, language, literature, painting, calligraphy, seal carving, sculpture, architecture, music, medicine, printing, food, tea, custom, etc. And Chinese characters are important carriers of culture. The Japanese people accepted Chinese culture, and accepted Chinese language and Chinese characters. Huang Bo monk read aloud Buddhist Classics in Chinese, did Ritual, used the Chinese custom to layout Dojo, and communicated with Japanese in Chinese. The Japanese people even wrote Chinese textbooks. Therefore the Huang Bo mountain not only formed to promote Chinese Buddhism, but also became a famous Chinese education group at that time.
