Nowadays, with the rapid development of internet social services, it has become a style of social interaction. A lot of internet users including adolescents use social services provided by internet. It’s helpful for educators to clarify the phenomena in the process of internet social services which can help us guide adolescents to take advantage of internet social services. It has been proved that personality trait is an important factor of adolescents’preference for internet social services and peer attachment may also has impacts on their preference for internet social services. Based on the studies home and aboard, the paper deeply studied how did the relationship between adolescents’personality trait and peer attachment affect the preference for social internet services.This study surveyed a sample of332adolescents through questionnaires, who came from one junior middle school and one senior high school of Zhengzhou, Henan. The investigation involved the Scale of Adolescents" Five-Factor Inventory, Peer Attachment Scale of IPPA and Internet Social Services Perference Scale. Main results and conclusions of this study were concluded as follows:(1) Gender had significant difference on adolescents" openness and grade had significant difference on adolescents’ extraversion.(2) Adolescents’peer attachment was on a higher-middle level. Adolescents’average score of peer trust was highest and their average score of peer alienationwas lowest. Gender had significant difference on adolescents’peer attachment, peer trust and peer communication; Grade had significant difference on adolescents’peer alienation.(3) Adolescents’preference for internet social services was on a higher-middle level. Gender and grade had significant difference on adolescents’preference for internet social services.(4) Adolescents’personality trait and its five dimensions were positively associated with their preference for internet social services. Adolescents’openness, neuroticism and extraversion positively predicted their preference for internet social services.(5) Adolescents" peer attachment and its three dimensions were positively associated with their preference for internet social services. Adolescents’peer communication and peer alienation positively predicted their preference for internet social services.(6) Adolescents" extraversion and agreeableness positively predicted their peer attachment and neuroticism negatively predicted their peer attachment. (7) Adolescents’ peer communication had part effect between openness and their preference for internet social services; Adolescents’peer communication had part effect between extraversion and their preference for internet social services; Adolescents’peer alienation had part effect between extraversion and their preference for internet social services.
