News Photography Education In Colleges And Universities Under The New Media Environment Of The Present Situation And The Countermeasures

The emergence of new media has greatly changed the environment for the survival of the traditional media, also contributes to its continuous self-transformation communion of new media. Photojournalism both the characteristics of the news media and visual communication, which corresponds to the propagation characteristics of the current media news and the audience psychological needs, becomes the darling of the new media age. Photojournalism obtained more room for development, and ushered in new opportunities for development, it has also produced many new changes. Concrete manifestation of these changes:news photo coverage depth of content, the enrichment of the form of photojournalism, media reporter photojournalism skills popularization. For now, the media in these three areas has already begun the action, such as using pictures from social channels for citizen photographers, picture libraries, contract photographer, to give reporters more support to take picture story, picture topics. Or, use of new media, innovative image display such as an interactive atlas, multimedia photo album, etc.; actively training reporters to adapt media integration of all media reporter. The changes of the vocational needs of the media, no doubt sends the signal to university photojournalism education, forcing the photojournalism education course reform. Unfortunately, colleges and universities on the education of photojournalism have paid insufficient attention to, not only did not increase the adaptation of new media teaching and practice to learn the appropriate lag. Additionally, scholars have not a lot of essays on these issues for the whole bundle Ribbon.In response to this situation, this paper first systematically studies the status of photojournalism education and a way out in the new media environment.
