Couplet Culture And Modern Way Of Communication

Couplet derived is a unique kind of China’s literary genre born from poetry culture, it introverts the content and form various Chinese traditional literature and the essence of expression art. Because of the strong vitality and artistic expression, it was acclaimed "poem of the poem","exquisite works of art".Nowadays, we can see couplet in each social corner, such as the foundation and completion of the great construction project, various anniversary conference of companies, the Spring Festival couplet, and the wedding couplet and so on. Couplet in our society today have broad platform of use. Now, there are some undeniable difficulties and the lack of means of dissemination, so researching on Yangzhou couplet culture and modern means of dissemination is necessary.This paper takes the couplet culture as research object, the spread of couplets as the main line,researched from three parts of the content, the value of spreading and how to spread. Using basic research, case analysis, planning and design method, combed the history and development process of couplet culture, dig the ideological essence of couplet and elaborated couplets spread value,summarize the characteristics of Yangzhou couplet, advanced some constructive ideas and solutions. Full text takes the yangzhou couplet and mode of couplet transmission for research emphases, based on local traditional culture spreading, specific discussing the development of couplet concretely.Now, there are some undeniable difficulties and the lack of means of dissemination, so researching on Yangzhou couplet culture and modern means of dissemination is necessary. This paper introduces the basic knowledge of the couplet and overview the development course of couplet; dig the ideological essence of couplet from two aspects: Chinese traditional philosophy and aesthetic ideology; elaborated couplets spread value from three aspects of social value, educational value and aesthetic value; summarize the characteristics of Yangzhou couplet by case study and find five characteristics: historicity, richness, variety, narrative, representativeness. In the research of modern transmission way of couplet culture, I advanced some constructive ideas and solutions, including word-sample computer technology, TV mode of transmission, educational games software, network BBS and couplet teaching website, etc. Couplet is an unique kind of China’s literary genre born from poetry culture,if we could propagate this ancient couplet culture with modern digital form, it will make more young people understand and like the couplet, so the couplet can keep its vitality, become more exuberant and get better inheritance and development.
