Hanzi and Chinese traditional culture has close relationship and production andthe development process would reflect the culture of Chinese nation from the side.Hanzi is the hieroglyphic unique text in the world. It not only records the notation ofChinese language but also contains the knowledge of science and culture. Each Hanzicontains the cultural factors plentifully.From past to present, regardless of the matriarchal or patriarchal social system,women play the important positions. Women are the reincarnation for beauty, forsacrificial virtue for others. In the matriarchal system, women have very high socialposition; however, in the patriarchal society (the feudalism), women’s positions areheavily influenced by male chauvinism, so they have extremely low positions. Theabove issues are all reflected in Hanzi. It is also the main point of the Hanzi cultureteaching.Language teaching and cultural teaching are two issues which cannot beseparated. Chinese teaching, especially Hanzi teaching cannot underestimate thecultural factors. In Chinese, female to radical characters account the large number.Researchers have had a certain number of achievements; however, no one has studiedabout the combination of Chinese female characters on teaching.Derived from practical requirements and from the above reason, the authorchooses the research topic:“research on cultural connotation of female to radicalcharacters and teach them to Vietnamese learners”. The thesis surveys the position ofChinese female characters and their meanings, analyses the structure of Hanzi in orderto highlight its cultural inside implications, analyses the Vietnamese student’s errorswhen learning female to radical characters and then, the researcher states therecommendations for solving the problems of teaching and learning.
