About The Music Of The Appearance And Rheological Thoughts

Yue Ji, as foundational work of ancient Chinese Aesthetics of Literature and Art, is alwaysan essential issue in the research of Chinese musical aesthetics. Meanwhile, as partial content of it,natural theoretical connection exists between Yue Ji and Chinese traditional Confucian classicsstudies. Reviewing Yue Ji from aspect of traditional Confucian classics studies, and taking XuanZheng, Yingda Kong and Fuzhi Wang three people’s notes and commentaries of Yue Ji as studyobjects, observing the development of ideological evolution and means of interpretation reflectedin the notes and commentaries made by scholars from different stages in a “developing andflowing” historical horizon, this thesis is expected to clarify the clue of ideologicaldevelopment in Yue Ji.This thesis is illustrated by three chapters. The first chapter is the investigation ofbackground, which consists of two aspects: first is the macroscopic description of development ofConfucian classics studies in three time stages---Western and Eastern Han, Sui and Tang, Songand Yuan and Ming, so to provide theoretical background for the research of their notes; second isthe study of three people’s historical background, personal experience and academic thoughts, soto provide direct theoretical support for the research of their notes. The second chapter is thespecific study of their notes and commentaries, to clarify the evolution of ideology and method ofexegesis in Yue Ji; the third chapter is the investigation of specific problems of Yue Ji from theaspects of philosophy of music and Aesthetics, which will be discussed in two sides---origins ofmusic and emotion, and eduction function of music.
