Chinese classical dancing demonstrates its unique beauty of essence of Chinese culture byits screw twisted, round and curved posture, various and speedy motions, gliding ways andharmony manners. And it is also of great value for training and practice. Therefore the Chineseclassical dancing teaching plays a very important role in dancing educational system of collegesand universities. The author chooses Chinese classical dancing teaching of colleges anduniversities in Shandong province as research object of this article. The author will analyze thestatus quo of Chinese classical dancing teaching of colleges and universities in ShandongProvince and puts forward some feasible suggestions, which hopefully could contribute for thedevelopment of dancing teaching in Shandong province. The thesis consists of three chapters:Chapter One: According to the general situation of Chinese classical dancing teaching ofcolleges and universities, the author elaborates the status quo in view of the Chinese classicaldancing, figures out what the problem is and analyzes it. The chapter draws a conclusion that theteaching content is much similar, the teaching achievement is scarce, different regions have theirdifferent characteristics etc. All can be summarizes as one problem: the insufficientacknowledgement about the value of classical dancing. And the author also analyses it to thateffect.Chapter Two: this chapter discusses the teaching situations of Chinese classical dancing inArt Institutions, Normal Universities and regular colleges and universities. The instrument forthis research is questionnaire. The questionnaires are delivered to the above mentioned colleges,and then it is collected for analyzing and researching. After analyzing the result, the author findssome problems within such as, students’ motive intensity for learning classical dancing, theirviews on rational curriculum setting, curriculum evaluations, intention of choosing occupationsetc. After analyzing these questions, the author comes to three conclusions: First, using culture tocolor their minds, interest to activate study desire; Second, developing fundamental education byconnecting with advanced technology, cultivating muti-skilled people by keeping pace withquality education; Third, rendering well-prepared service for job-hunting, to create more broadstages for students, to provide fresh energy for development of dancing.Chapter Three: According to the present situation of Chinese classical dancing teaching ofcolleges and universities and problems existing in it, the author will put forward some feasiblesolutions to that effect and some teaching suggestions for further research for people who will dothe same research in the future.
