Research Of The Long-term Mechanism For College Student Village-official Policy

The "village official" policy for college students is one of the employment-driven measuresimplemented by the government, which is a win-win solution. It not only breaks through thebottleneck of the talents shortage for the construction of the new socialist countryside but also solvesthe employment difficulty for college students. The "village official" policy has formed over the last10years, which plays a positive role in many aspects. It promotes the construction of the new socialistcountryside, fills the talents gap in countryside as well as alleviates employment pressures. However,there are some problems in the "village official" policy itself and the supporting management systemsuch as the employment of the college students due to its short sight, thus hindering its anticipativefunction. Therefore, it’s necessary to establish a delicate and long-lasting mechanism for the "villageofficial" policy in order to realize its anticipative function and prolonged development.The paper begins with the concept and elements of the long-term mechanism of the "villageofficial" policy. Taking Jiangsu province as an example, this paper made a multidimensional and deepsurvey of the present situation of the "village official" policy with the method of the sociology. As forthe sample’s selection, the paper considers the three typical areas of Jiangsu province. Questionnairesand interviews collected, together with some relative documents and literatures, the paper mainlyanalyses the following problems: the "village official" policy itself, the employment mechanism, themanagement and the guarantee system for the "village official" policy for college students.Finally, for the above mentioned problems, with the theory of the management and politics, somethoughts and suggestions for the long-term mechanism of "village official" policy are offered fromthe3stages of employment of the college students of "village official" policy.
